The BGN app for apprentices “Embarking on a career – fit and healthy” is a smartphone app which specifically addresses apprentices in the restaurant sector. By means of a leading figure, the development of a positive self-perception of the apprentices is encouraged. As figureheads, among others, the star cook Juan Amador and the cook of the year Christian Sturm-Willms could be gained to tell in short video interviews about their training period. The app offers background information and interactive tools on the topics career, stress and relaxation, sleep, nutrition and exercise: Thus, among other things with the help of a test, you can find out more about your sleeping habits and develop your optimal sleep rhythm. Or you learn more about healthy eating – even if you work shifts. Of course, qualified apprentices can also benefit from the contents. Ziel und Zweck
„Wenn du dich um deine Gesundheit kümmerst (Ernährung, Bewegung, Schlaf, Entspannung, Stressabbau), dann hast du einen guten Start in deinen Beruf und bleibst auf Dauer leistungsfähig. Mit dieser App unterstützen wir dich dabei.“
Die App soll Jugendliche in der Phase der Umstellung von der Schule zum Beruf unterstützen und richtet sich daher vor allem an Auszubildende im ersten Ausbildungsjahr. Entwickelt wurde die App von der Berufsgenossenschaft Nahrungsmittel und Gastgewerbe (BGN) im Rahmen des Projektes INDIGHO (Innovation und demografischer Wandel im Gaststätten- und Hotelgewerbe). Das Ziel: Unternehmen der Gastronomie und Hotellerie sollen mit Angeboten unterstützt werden, die helfen können, heutige und zukünftige Fachkräfte im Gastgewerbe zu halten. Das Projekt wurde von 2012 bis 2015 aus Mitteln des Bundesministeriums für Bildung und Forschung und aus dem Europäischen Sozialfonds der Europäischen Union gefördert.
Zielgruppe
Die BGN-Azubi-App „In der Beruf starten – fit und gesund“ ist eine Smartphone-App, die sich gezielt an Auszubildende im Gastgewerbe wendet. Mit Hilfe einer Leitfigur wird der Aufbau eines positiven Selbstbildes der Auszubildenden gefördert. Als Imageträger
